ABOUT

Ilana is a speech-language pathologist with a passion for helping children develop the ability to communicate their wants, needs, thoughts, and feelings with others. In her more than 8 years of experience, she has seen children and adults in hospital, outpatient, private clinic, and home-care settings. She believes that therapy should be fun, evidence-based, and family centered to help parents become the experts in their child’s communication skills. She strives to incorporate each child’s strengths and individual differences into every aspect of treatment planning.

Ilana received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan and her Master’s degree in Communicative Sciences & Disorders from New York University.

Ilana is a certified member of the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA), the California Speech-Language Hearing Association  (CSHA) and is licensed within the State of California.
